WOW .. what a fantastic day. Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy our Coastal Crafters Carnival at Toogoom yesterday. The sun shone, the bunting was blowing in the wind, the quilts were much admired & the entertainment all day was amazing. We all thoroughly enjoyed Kathy Adams (Koolkat Quilting) trunk show as well as Jacky & Jean's very funny skit and what a hoot Loani Prior was especially when she had the whole audience rapping to "knit, knit, knit".
Thanks must go to our wonderful organising committee & our many helpers from the local community for such a professional job. Much praise is being bestowed upon us for our organisation. Thanks must also go to the Toogoom Fishing Club for the use of their shed etc and also the Toogoom Community Association for their support and hard work. Thanks also to the Hervey Bay Lions Club for the loan of their quilt stands at such short notice & to the SES for directing traffic.
A huge thank you also to the Toogoom Craft & Chat AND Project Linus ladies for all of their yummy home baked goodies - biscuits, slices and fruit cakes.
Our hall was full of amazing stalls & many $$$$$$$$$$ were spent. Thanks to our stallholders and of course to YOU if you came along on the day. Without your support it would not have been such a success.
