Committee members Pam and Josie are pictured here discussing the blocks and cards they have prepared for the draws. Pam is a patchworker and has made the two lovely underwater blocks she is holding.
Blocks for the draw should be a 8.5" square of cream background with a nautical theme. Josie is into card-making and having been the recipient of some of her cards I can say she does it beautifully. She is pictured explaining to Pam the process she used to get the shading on the flowers on the card in her hand. Josie has made three cards ready for the draw. She has made one wedding card, a birthday card and a get well card.
Cards for the draws can be in any theme and for any occasion and should include an envelope and be enclosed in a clear plastic bag. The cards will be drawn in sets as is usually done for block draws so you have a chance to win several beautiful cards when you enter your card. I might just get my paper supplies out and join in.
